As Doğuş Teknoloji, we are proud to be the Digital Archive Protection Partner of the Ara Güler Archive and Research Center, which preserves the lifelong work of Ara Güler—one of Turkey’s greatest visual storytellers, a witness to history through his lens, and a globally renowned representative of photojournalism and photography. Supporting the preservation and transfer of his digital archive to future generations, we contribute to safeguarding not only social life but also Turkey’s cultural and historical heritage through his photographs.

Established in 2016 through the collaboration between Doğuş Group and Ara Güler, the Ara Güler Archive and Research Center is dedicated to preserving and passing on the artist’s invaluable archive while staying true to its original structure. The center houses a diverse collection, including Ara Güler’s vast photo archive, cameras, darkroom equipment, books, correspondence, journals, and personal belongings. The classification, digitization, and indexing of these collections have been carried out comprehensively since the center’s inception.

At Doğuş Teknoloji, we leverage advanced technology and innovative approaches to develop an Archive Management System that preserves the originality of Ara Güler’s archive. We also provide digital storage and backup services to ensure its longevity. Additionally, we have designed and developed the website infrastructure of the Ara Güler Museum, creating an engaging digital experience that enhances its interactions.
