We shape the technology of the future with our R&D investments.

We have been conducting pioneering studies in the field of software and information technologies as one of Turkey's leading R&D centers since 2017 as Doğuş Teknoloji. We shed light on the software and IT industry with our belief in R&D and our investments. We are taking firm steps towards becoming one of Turkey's leading technology companies with our TÜBİTAK and EUREKA approved projects and patents.

OUR R&D CENTER ACHIEVEMENTS

    • We ranked 7th in R&D investments among software and information technology companies in 2022.
    • Domestically, 4 of our R&D projects supported by TÜBİTAK 1501 were successfully completed.
    • 5 of our R&D projects were approved by Eureka clusters within our international studies.
    • We have applied for a total of 44 patents since 2017, and 7 of our patents have been approved by the Turkish Trademark and Patent Office.
    • We have a total of 4 active international projects, 3 ongoing projects approved by ITEA & TÜBİTAK 1509 and 1 ongoing project approved by EUREKA & TÜBİTAK 1509.

Subject: This system performs the control of the products that are removed from the stock area or entered into the stock area during the shipment of the products in the stock areas of the companies according to the shipment plan. With this system, in case the products are shipped to the stock areas with different status, the status are automatically followed up and updated, the products entering and leaving the stock areas are tracked, and the product is checked according to the shipment plan.

Subject:This system enables to manage the transfer process of vehicles between stock areas and track them with RFID (Radio Frequency Identity) by the automotive distributor companies. With this system, the vehicles to be transferred between the stock areas are marked before the transfer process and followed throughout the whole process. The operations of the vehicles between the stock areas are planned separately from the shipment process, the transfer process and status are tracked with RFID tags and readers, and when the transferred vehicle leaves the stock area and it arrives the new field, it is ensured that the field information is followed up-to-date with RFID readers.

Projects

Doğuş Teknoloji carries out domestic and international R&D projects in its R&D Center. The company carries out its R&D projects, experiencing new collaborations and technologies in all clusters under the Horizon and Eureka programs.

Subject: A software tool development project to help service providers use their resources effectively, allocate incoming calls to the right expert/provider accurately, and offer the right solution at the right place.

Field of Application: Consumer Electronics

R&D Focus: Natural Language Processing

Doğuş Teknoloji's Contribution: Development of a system aimed at consumer electronics to respond to failure notifications made through the website using NLP.

Subject:A project to develop a decision support system for fleet leasing and second-hand vehicle sales that estimates the vehicle's depreciation (Residual Value) using machine learning, as well as an operational fleet rental platform using this system.

Field of Application: Automotive Fleet Rental and Used Vehicle Sales

R&D Focus: Machine Learning

Subject: A Turkish smart virtual assistant/chatbot development project that enables companies in the automotive industry to expand their customer support channels (call centers, websites and platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Slack, etc.) using machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.

R&D FocusNatural Language Processing

Subject:A project developed to make the order picking process faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective in spare parts warehouses. This project involved efforts carried out on the picking algorithm, order picking time estimation model, and simulation model development. The picking algorithm allows work orders to be created and assigned to workstations in the most appropriate way. This ensured that picking staff could access the relevant work orders through mobile handheld terminals and managed the part picking using the shortest route and as quickly as possible.

Subject: An application development framework project that allows software teams to develop projects faster using contemporary software architectures in line with today’s rapidly evolving software development technologies, making it possible for the developed projects to be scaled more easily with a microservice architecture with less tendency for error.

Subject: A project to manage and monitor the process for the physical destruction of automotive spare parts that have expired, are damaged beyond use during transportation or storage, or depreciated in value, with smart contracts using the Hyperledger Blockchain infrastructure.

Subject:Zubizu 3.0 is a mobile app that combines loyalty and finance solutions. Customers are offered instant discounts, cashbacks or exclusive service opportunities as loyalty services in transactions made in contracted workplaces using the Zubizu QR code feature, their wallet balance, or hidden cards. Financial transactions (EFT, transfer, invoice payment, expenditure division) were also added to the loyalty programs in Zubizu 3.0. Zubizu 3.0's software architecture is developed entirely with a microservice architecture using open source technologies and adopting an event sourcing approach.

  • Every year, we reward our teammates who fulfill the R&D tasks by participating in the R&D Games competition, which we designed as part of the importance we give to R&D.
  • In our competition, where scoring has been done with various criteria since 2017, our teammates who meet the criteria and rank with high scores receive lucrative prizes.
  • The scoring system includes various criteria such as application to incentive and support programs, report writing, completion of graduation projects, participation in various programs, and technical writings determined by the R&D management office.
  • Our 75 teammates who will be ranked in 2024 will receive a share of the 750,000 TL prize according to the miles they earn.
