Semih İncedayı: "We have quadrupled our awareness in the market."

Para Magazine hosted Semih Incedayi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doğuş Technology Group. In his interview, he gave important information about the services provided by Doğuş Teknoloji, its growth volume in the market in 2022, its targets for 2023, and the values of the technology world.

•Could you briefly tell us about Doğuş Teknoloji? In which areas do you offer services?

Launched in 2012, our company today manages a wide range of Information Technologies activities such as System Integration, CRM, ERP Solutions and related Software Development, Data Analytics, Technology Operations, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Cyber Security, Robotic Automation, Blockchain, Smartglass, IoT Applications, Mobile and Web Applications, UI/UX Services.

As of 2017, we became one of Turkey's leading R&D centers. In addition, by adopting an intrapreneurship culture, we have started productizing the applications used within the group since 2021.

We do not limit our process of creating value in the field of technology to product development; we also manage business partnerships to bring the world's leading technologies to our customers. We currently have 24 global partners. Especially in the field of cyber security, we are the sole business partner of some of the world's leading security applications in the region.

As a result of the investments, we carry out with our business partners, we use technology most accurately, conduct activities on Blockchain, Metaverse, mobile technologies, wearable technologies, and digital solutions, and share the results with our customers. We also carry substantial investments in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning models.

Software is also one of our strong suits. We aim to ensure continuity in software with regular monitoring processes by establishing systems prioritizing quality.

• As an IT company that sells products as well as services, what kind of products do you offer?

We have products for multiple sectors such as Lugado, an NLP-based chatbot application, Hybee, a hybrid working application, and Notisecure, developed to raise awareness on many issues. Our objective is to transform the ideas of our employees into products through our production processes and to incorporate them in the future.

• What was 2022 like for Doğuş Teknoloji?

In 2022, we added value with technology to many more customers outside the group and in the global market. We increased our non-group business volume by 4 times compared to 2021 and increased our recognition in the market. I would say that we had a productive year with our new business partners, especially in the transformation processes of Cloud, Cyber Security, and RPA technologies.

We created the technology vertical of Doğuş Group by bringing together our companies Related Digital, offering digital marketing automation services, and Reidin, providing real estate data index in different countries such as Turkey and Dubai, under the umbrella of Doğuş Technology.

Our goal in 2021 was to expand the products, services, and services we offer both to Doğuş Group companies in Turkey and to our non-group customers abroad. In line with this goal, we expanded abroad and established two new branches in Dubai in May 2022 at DIFC (Dubai International Finance Center) and in Qatar - QFZ (Qatar Free Zone) in December. With these initiatives, we aim to expand our customer range from Europe to Asia, especially in the Gulf Region countries.

•What are the plans of Doğuş Teknoloji for 2023?

Doğuş Teknoloji will continue to work on its products, overseas operations, cyber security, hybrid cloud transformation, Intelligent Automation, data, and application security, machine learning modeling, and application transformation in 2023.

Especially cyber security has reached a different level with our hybrid works. Companies that fail to take measures in this regard suffer not only a loss of information but also a loss of prestige. We offer the most appropriate solutions with our comprehensive team working in the field of cyber security. This year, we will continue to expand our service network.

Doğuş Teknoloji aims to become the leader of the region in the international market... As the biggest part of this goal, we will become the leading technology company, especially in the EMEA region. We aim to strengthen the business development processes that we have started in the markets where we operate, especially in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, through our new companies, and to establish a permanent place in these markets with our products, and services.

• What is your evaluation of the IT world in 2023 in terms of new technologies?

The IT world is an area of rapid change and development, and we anticipate that this change and development will continue in 2023. The faster companies can adapt to this change, the stronger their presence in the market will be. Therefore, it is necessary to be more agile than ever. There will be many developments in new technologies this year. There will be significant developments in areas such as data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, IoT, blockchain, and cyber security, the use of digital currencies will become widespread, and digital transformation processes will accelerate.
